for Operation Transportation:

We left home at 7.00pm to head to the lovely Castle Café at CIT's Blackrock Castle Observatory. We met Jerry O'Sullivan (Manager) when we arrived in our cycling gear. I assured him we had a change of clothes and we wouldn't be dining in our cycling gear!

The food was delicious, as usual. I had lovely seared duck on a most beautifully prepared risotto for starters. Then, I had yummy baked cod for my main course.
The portions were very filling, so skipped dessert and had a lovely cappuccino. It was 9.30pm when we were leaving the restaurant. We really enjoyed the evening cycle through the Marina, very little traffic which was great.
We even got an opportunity to try out our bicycle lights, as we didn't arrive home until 10.30pm. A really enjoyable start to Operation Transportation
